Cyclone Hudhud: AP Likely To Evacuate 3.91 Lakh
5 coastal districts - Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari - are likely to be the worst hit, and people are being evacuated from there.

The Andhra Pradesh Government has put the administration in all the 9 coastal districts of the State on alert in view of the very severe cyclonic storm "Hudhud" likely to hit the Vizag coast on Sunday.
Five coastal districts - Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari - are likely to be the worst hit due to the cyclone.
As many as 64 mandals and 396 villages are likely to be affected.
The government is making arrangements to evacuate 3,91,990 people from the five districts, including 1,85,211 from Srikakulam alone.
As many as 370 relief camps have been identified.
The evacuation has already begun in some of the districts.
A total of 54 boards have been positioned and 689 swimmers have been engaged to meet any eventuality.
Also, 13 NDRF teams and one SDRF team have been deployed at various locations
30 rescue teams of the Navy with boats and equipment have been positioned at Visakhapatnam, and one column has been moved to Srikakulam.
One column of the Army from the Andhra Sub-Area has also been positioned at Visakhapatnam.
A total of 15 satellite phones too have been stationed in the 5 districts.
According to officials, all essential commodities have been kept ready at the cyclone-prone villages of the 5 districts, and control rooms too have been set up at the district, division and mandal levels.
The government has also appointed special officers in each of the cyclone-prone mandals in the 5 districts. (INN)
