Lodge Keys No 297, Hyderabad's primary unit of Freemasonry, will organise two free CPR training programs on August 16 and 17 in collaboration with GVK Green Health Services (formerly GVK EMRI).
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is a vital first-aid skill used when a person's heart stops beating or they stop breathing. The Lodge Keys' programs are part of its community outreach initiative "Be a CPR Ambassador", aimed at training 1,000 CPR Ambassadors over the next 12 months.
The program on August 16 will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm, and the session on August 17 from 10 am to 1:30 pm, both at the Goshamahal Baradari Masonic Building.
Entry is free, but prior registration needs to be done by calling 98480 42020.
Participation is limited to 40 people per program on a first-come first-registered basis. The training will be practical, with all participants getting the opportunity to perform CPR on mannequins.
Individuals, NGOs and corporations wishing to support this initiative are encouraged to contact D Ramchandram on 98480 42020 and join hands with Lodge Keys in promoting this life-saving skill.
Registrations can be made through any of the following Lodge Keys members:
