Corruption Allegations On Telangana Speaker
The Congress today alleged that Telangana Speaker Madhusudhana Chary was corrupt, and that the TRS leaders themselves had exposed his corrupt practices.
Congress leader Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy today alleged that Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary was corrupt, and that the TRS leaders themselves had exposed his corrupt practices.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Gandra alleged that Madhusudhana Chary's sons had become extra-constitutional forces, and demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao respond and remove Chary from his position.
It may be recalled that some sections of the media published news that Parakala Agriculture Market Committee chairman Polapally Srinivas Reddy had alleged that Chary had to give Rs. 48 lakhs to him.
Polapally had said that he had spent Rs. 98.58 lakhs on behalf of Chary in Shayampet mandal, which falls under the Bhupalapally constituency from where Madhusudhana Chary has been elected to the Assembly. He said that he had received only Rs. 50.35 lakhs from Chary so far, and was yet to receive another Rs. 48.23 crores.
Polapally had urged the Chief Minister to do justice to him by making Chary give the remaining amount to him immediately, in a letter sent to the CM. He had lamented that he had spent the money by selling his own lands.
