Cong Will Be Wiped Out From T-Region: Rapolu

Rajya Sabha member Rapolu Ananda Bhasker on Saturday warned that the Congress party will be wiped out from "the region" if it fails to take a favourable decision on Telangana.

Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan, Rapolu said that it was high time that the Centre announced its decision on the Telangana issue. Referring to the Jai Andhra Pradesh meeting organised by Undavalli Arun Kumar at Rajahmundry on Friday, he said that the meeting was proof that people from Seemandhra and Telangana could not live together.

Rapolu also pulled up PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana for having attended the Rajahmundry meeting, "ingoring his limitations and responsibilities". He ridiculed Botsa's contention that he had attended the meeting in professional capacity. He said that Botsa had proved that he was a Seemandhra leader first and then the PCC president. (INN)
