Senior Congress leader Damodar Reddy warned the CM of consequences in case IT minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy were to be ousted.
Venkat Reddy was reportedly issued a show cause notice by the Congress high command after he publicly charged CM Rosaiah of behaving like the CM of the Andhra region rather than that of the whole state, and with challenging the CM’s statement about investors and film producers moving away from Hyderabad.
Damodar Reddy defended Venkat Reddy, and also said that he and education minister Sridhar Babu must be hailed for not withdrawing their resignations.
Another Congress leader, the AICC secretary Keshav Rao, too joined the attacks on the CM, wondering why the cases booked against Telangana activists were not withdrawn so far despite the Centre’s assurance on the same.
