The CPI(M) State Secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram urged Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to not make unsubstantiated accusations against Opposition parties.
Veerabhadram's "mahajana padayatra" reached Khammam on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Veerabhadram challenged the Chief Minister to substantiate his claims.
Later, he demanded that the State government pay adequate compensation to those who lost their lands under irrigation projects.
He also alleged that the main Opposition, Congress, was unfit to fight against the State government on burning public issues and instead was making it an ego-war and making pointless allegations.
