Nayani Needs To Apologize: Niranjan
Congress General Secretary G Niranjan criticized TRS leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy for the latter's comments on Congress Leaders who are pressing for Telangana bill.
Congress Party General Secretary G Niranjan on Tuesday condemned the statements made by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy against the Congress leaders who are in New Delhi to press for Telangana bill with the Congress Core Committee.
Talking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan, he expressed serious objection to the remarks made by Narasimha Reddy that Telangana people would beat Congress leaders with brooms if they come back empty-handed.
Criticizing the TRS leader for issuing such demeaning remarks, he said that the Congress leaders are also working for separate Telangana state formation, and that the TRS leaders should refrain from making such crude comments and showing discrimination.
Niranjan has asked Narasimha Reddy to withdraw his statements and issue an apology to the Congress leaders, warning him of dire consequences if he does not change his adamant attitude and language.
Reacting to the news that Telangana TDP Forum Convenor Nagam Janardhan Reddy is writing a book 'Nenu Naa Telangana', Niranjan asked the TDP leader to work for Telangana agitation first, and then pen his book.
