Telugu Desam Party MP Nama Nageswara Rao alleged, on Monday, that TRS leader K Chandrasekhar Rao colluded with the Congress and
attacked Telugu Desam leader N Chandrababu Naidu's convoy when Naidu was on its way to Mahabubnagar to raise the issue of
shortage of fertilizers in the state.
Talking to reporters at the TDLP Office, Nageswara Rao criticized TRS president KCR for speaking on behalf of 10 Janpath and acting like an agent of the Congress.
Rao challenged KCR to stage a dharna before 10 Janpath in New Delhi for the Telangana statehood agitation.
Nageswara Rao voiced his bewilderment over the silence of the TRS chief in Parliament over the separate Telangana issue, by questioning, "Did he raise problems of Telangana any time in the Lok Sabha? Did he help the state in any way during his tenure as a Union Minister?"
The TDP leader advised KCR to behave in a proper manner with other leaders and warned of serious consequences if he did not stop making emotionally-charged statements.
Nageswara Rao further criticized the government for failing to provide proper security for the Leader of the Opposition during his tour, and said that this was proof that the Congress was in collusion with the TRS to attack the TDP chief.
Rao said the attack took place to enable the government cover its inefficiency and failures in distribution of fertilizers.
