Congress Slams Manda Krishna Madiga For Supporting BJP

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) SC Cell chairman Preetham lashed out at the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) chief Manda Krishna Madiga for levelling "baseless" remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and extending support to the BJP for "selfish gains".

Speaking at a press conference, Preetham said that Manda Krishna was making derogatory remarks against the Chief Minister and the Congress to help the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

"It's very unfortunate that Manda Krishna Madiga is supporting the BJP which has cheated the entire Madiga community by not introducing the SC categorisation Bill in Parliament. It's clear that Manda Krishna is extending support to a religious party only for selfish gains and not for the welfare of Madiga community," he said.

"Manda Krishna also hates the Reddy community. But at the same time he loves BJP Telangana State unit president Kishan Reddy so much. It shows the selfish nature of Manda Krishna," Preetham said.

"He had also once said that the BJP had cheated the Madigas by not introducing the SC categorisation Bill in Parliament. Now the same person is saying that justice will be done to the Madigas only with BJP," he said.

Preetham said that the Congress was the only party that did justice to the Madigas, and that the categorisation of the Madiga community could be done only with the Congress in power.
