Congress Asks KCR To Actually Give Jobs To People Selected In 2018
The Congress demanded that the Telangana government fill up the Group IV vacancies with the aspirants selected years back but not given appointment letters.
AICC Secretary Ch Vamshichand Reddy today demanded that the state government fill up the existing Group IV vacancies with the aspirants selected for the posts.
He said that the government had conducted the exams in 2018 to fill 1,595 Group IV posts, and that a total of 4,35,383 persons had applied and gone through the recruitment process. The results too were declared by the government in March 2019. But the appointment letters to the selected candidates had not yet been given by the authorities even a year after that, and the government had failed to fill the posts even two years after the notification.
This showed that the state government had conducted the exams only to garner the votes of those sections, and had no intention of filling those positions, Reddy alleged.
He claimed that the KCR government was anti-unemployed and inefficient. He said that the unemployed had played an important role in the creation of Telangana as a separate state, and asked if Telangana was meant just for KCR and his family members or all the people of the state.
