Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers, Congress MLAs and MLCs will visit the Medigadda barrage in Jayashankar-Bhupalpally district tomorrow.

The State government has arranged an official trip for all the 119 MLAs and 40 MLCs to the barrage to examine and assess the "flawed" project design and "poor quality" of the works during the BRS regime, which allegedly led to the sinking of some of the piers of the barrage, and also to cracks in the Annaram and Sundilla barrages.

The Assembly is expected to start at 10 AM tomorrow, after participating in the House till 10:15 AM, Reddy along with ministers, MLAs and MLCs will go to the barrage by road.

Buses have been arranged for the tour, and all the elected representatives, including the CM, will travel in the buses to reach the destination.

They will reach the barrage by 3 PM. The site visit will be held for two hours. Later, a PowerPoint presentation will be made at the project site. The team will leave for Hyderabad at 5 PM.

The State government has also invited the opposition party leaders, including former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, to join the official visit to the barrage.

Meanwhile, the BRS is holding a public meeting in Nalgonda tomorrow, to "expose the anti-Telangana attitude of the Congress government" in the matter of the Krishna river waters, particularly related to the handing over of the outlets of the Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar projects. The BRS leadership has asked its party MLAs, MLCs and MPs to take part in the meeting.
