Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has ordered a probe into the bus fire mishap in Mahabaubnagar district which claimed 45 lives.
The Chief Minister, who is presently touring Srikakulam district, directed the Mahabubnagar District Collector and Superintendent of Police to conduct a thorough probe, and to submit a report at the earliest.
Expressing shock and anguish over the mishap, he directed the officials to provide all help required, to the injured and the families of the victims.
It may be mentioned that a private bus belonging to Jabbar Travels had caught fire near Palem in Mahabubnagar district, while it was on its way to Hyderabad from Bangalore. 45 passengers were killed and 5 people, including the driver and cleaner, survived the mishap. (INN)
