CM's Picture On PDS Rice Bags Offensive: D L Ravindra Reddy

Family Welfare Minister D L Ravindra Reddy on Saturday expressed resentment over the use of a photograph of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on PDS rice bags.

Talking to reporters here, Ravindra Reddy said that it was wrong on part of the Chief Minister to use his photograph on rice bags meant for the Public Distribution System. He alleged that the Chief Minister was indulging in self-publicity by misusing official machinery.

The minister also alleged that sincere workers were continuously being ignored in the party. Referring to the ongoing process for MLC elections, he said that the Kadapa district would get a raw deal in nominations for MLC posts. He said that honest and dedicated leaders were not getting proper recognition and that this could damage the party in the near future. (INN)
