Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths, on Tuesday, nabbed a Civil Assistant Surgeon of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute Medical Sciences (Kadapa) red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 5,000 for doing an official favour.
According to ACB sources, the orthopaedics doctor Dr. Ramachandraiah was caught red-handed in his chambers when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs. 5,000 as bribe from the complainant for issuing a "physically handicapped" certificate.
The tainted doctor was arrested, and is being produced before the Additional Special Judge For SPE And ACB Cases, in Hyderabad.
