Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi has tested positive for Covid-19.
He made this revelation through his office's Twitter handle today.
In his tweet, he said that he came to know about the infection when he underwent the test as part of a routine check-up.
He said that he had gone undergone the check ahead of resuming shooting for his upcoming movie Achari.
He also said that he was asymptomatic and was now under home quarantine.
He urged all those who had come into contact with him during the last five days to also get themselves tested for the coronavirus.
Interestingly, the star had met with the Chief Minister of the state K Chandrashekar Rao along with along Akkineni Nagarjuna, a couple of days back. They were walking together without masks and without practicing social distancing.
