Union minister K Chiranjeevi, on Saturday, ruled out the possibilities of his resignation from the post over the Centre's decision to create a new state of Telangana by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh.
Justifying his decision, Chiranjeevi said that one needs to be in power to participate in the debate on the Telangana bill in Parliament, and also to represent the issue on various forums.
He also said that he was working on a formula in which Hyderabad could be made a permanent common capital for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Chiranjeevi also appealed to agitated Samaikyandhra activists to maintain restrain and peace in the Seemandhra region. (INN)
