Children Tie Rakhis To CM Revanth Reddy
Several children who underwent surgeries for hearing impairment with the support of the government today expressed gratitude to the CM by tying rakhis to him.
Several children who underwent surgeries for hearing impairment with the support of the government today expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy by tying rakhis to him.
Hearing impairment problems among children of up to 5 years of age can usually be solved through surgery, and ever since he assumed the office of the Chief Minister, Reddy has been extending help for the treatment of children suffering from these problems.
Upon the instructions of the Chief Minister, the famous ENT Hospital in Koti started performing Cochlear implant surgeries in large numbers. The State government is also supporting those who underwent these surgeries by providing them hearing aids through LOC and the CMRF. AVT (Auditions Verbal Therapy) is also being provided for one year along with free hearing aids after the treatment.
Accompanied by ENT Hospital Superintendent Anand Acharya and Dr D K Veena, the children who underwent surgeries came to the Secretariat and thanked Reddy by tying rakhis to him. The family members of the children also expressed thanks to the Chief Minister for lending a helping hand to their children.
Earlier, Minister for Panchayat Raj Seethakka, AICC Telangana in-charge Deepa Das Munsi, Congress MLA Parnika Reddy, State Women's Commission Chairperson Nerella Sharada and other woman leaders tied rakhis to the Chief Minister.
