Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has lately taken to social networking site Twitter to converse with his followers and also to lash out at the ruling Congress.
Naidu, who was called the "Hitec CM" while in power, is a late entrant to Twitter, with only about 22,000 followers and only 42 tweets since he created his account on September 18.
"From my first computer in '84 to Twitter today. From transparency & accountability in governance to creating employment. Thanks to technology!" was his first tweet.
Naidu has been tweeting once everyday since then on average, and has been attacking the government and his other opponents with his updates.
"Thrown out of his own state Madhya Pradesh, searching for shelter in Andhra Pradesh by divisive politics," Naidu tweeted on Thursday to target AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh.
On Friday, Naidu slammed the state government for the unscheduled power cuts. He also said that the state power portfolio was lying vacant. "Power cuts in AP. 3hrs in HYD, 6hrs in towns & 12hrs in rural. Power portfolio vacant, people paying for govts inefficiency and corruption," he tweeted.
Source say that Naidu is planning to get more active on Twitter by increasing the frequency of his tweets. (INN)
