Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu will be leaving for New Delhi on Tuesday to meet the Prime-Minister-in-waiting Narendra Modi.
According to sources, Naidu will be discussing the possibilities of the induction of TDP MPs into the Union Cabinet.
Since the BJP has won 282 seats in the elections and can form the government on its own, there are reports that it might not share the Cabinet berths with other partners of the National Democratic Alliance.
However, the TDP, which won 16 seats in united Andhra Pradesh, is hopeful of convincing the BJP to allocate some important portfolios to the TDP's MPs.
Further, Naidu is also likely to discuss the issue of the new capital of the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
The TDP chief will also seek a special financial package for Seemandhra region, sources said. (INN)
