Chandrababu Naidu Starts Distribution Of NTR Bharosa Pensions
The AP coalition government today distributed pensions of Rs 7,000 each to the deserving people as promised in the coalition's election manifesto.

The distribution of NTR Bharosa pensions has started in AP.
The coalition government today distributed pensions of Rs 7,000 each to the deserving people as promised in its election manifesto.
This has created a festive atmosphere across the State.
CM Chandrababu Naidu launched the pension distribution scheme at Penumaka ST Colony in the Mangalagiri constituency. The CM reached the village along with minister Nara Lokesh and other officials,and went to the house of a beneficiary named Ramulu, who lived in a hut, and handed over their pensions to three beneficiaries.
He also spoke with the family members of the beneficiaries on the occasion. The CM assured them that houses would be constructed for them and handed over soon.
Pensioners in AP were getting Rs 3,000 per month under the previous YSR Congress government. The Chandrababu Naidu government has increased the amount by Rs 1,000 and made it Rs 4,000 per month. In addition to this, as per the promise in the TDP manifesto that the increased amount would be paid with effect from April 2024, the State government is distributing a total pension amount of Rs 7,000 this month to the beneficiaries, including the arrears for April, May and June 2024.
There are a total of 65.18 lakh eligible people. The State government released Rs 4,408 crore for the disbursement of the pensions.
The disbursement of pensions has been taken up by the State government as a prestigious program. The officials ensured that on the first day itself 100% of the distribution was completed. Each secretariat employee was allotted 50 pensioners, and Anganwadi and ASHA workers were used at some places to distribute the amounts.
Those who are unable to receive the pension on the first day due to any reason will be given the same by the staff of the village and ward secretariats at their homes on the second day.
