Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is planning to develop the coastline of Andhra Pradesh on the lines of Gujarat.
While interacting with a delegation of the Indian Merchants Chamber from Mumbai, Naidu said that the Gujarat model would be adopted in developing multiple ports along the AP coastline.
He said that the development of small and major ports would promote trade in the State, and that small ports on the AP coastline would be more useful for the transportation of goods to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The Chief Minister is also keen to develop temples towns like Simhachalam, Srisailam and Annavaram for religious tourism. (INN)
