Former Congress MLA Bagireddy Govardhan, on Friday, stated that TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to question former chief minister YSR's administration and his schemes.
Talking to media persons at the media point on the Assembly premises, he wondered why the TDP chief was making speeches on corruption during his Srikakulam tour when he himself faced allegations of being involved in scams.
He charged Naidu with selling around 17,000 acres of prime land amounting to around Rs. 2 lakh crore.
Govardhan sought Naidu's answer on how he spent the Rs. 2 lakh crore for the welfare of the people. He dared the TDP chief to reveal any schemes introduced during his 9-year stint in power, and also the beneficiaries of those 'schemes'.
The former MLA alleged that Naidu was making baseless allegations as he said "his mind is psychologically disturbed after seeing the thin attendance during his public meetings in Srikakulam".
He said that people had elected the Congress government for the second consecutive term on the basis of its good administration and schemes and voted out the TDP.
Govardhan advised Naidu to stop making baseless allegations and involve himself in constructive work from now onwards.
