Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA T Harish Rao alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was behind the agitation that took place in Parliament today against the formation of a Telangana state.
Talking to reporters after a program organised by employees of Vidhyut Souda in Hyderabad, Harish Rao said that today's protest in Parliament by the TDP MPs has "exposed the TDP's true colours".
Demanding that the TDP chief explain his stand on the protests, he also asked TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Mothkupally Narasimhulu to seek a reply about the TDP MPs' "betrayal" in Parliament, from their party president.
Harish Rao also accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana and Chandrababu Naidu, of inciting protests in Seemandhra.
The TRS leader alleged that certain vested interests have been floating "baseless" reports that his party wants Seemandhra people to leave Hyderabad.
He said that neither TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao nor any other leader had asked people to leave Hyderabad or the Telangana region. He said that everybody can live in Telangana peacefully.
Harish Rao threatened that there would be massive protests in Telangana if the Centre delays the formation of the new state. (INN)
