The AP Congress President Botsa Satyanarayana, on Tuesday, reiterated that N Chandrababu Naidu has no moral right to take up the farmers' cause.
He said that Naidu had previously termed investment in agriculture and remedial efforts on farmer suicides a waste, when the TDP was in power.
Botsa has also alleged Naidu is only doing this padayatra on the proposed hike in power tariff in an effort to get political mileage.
He also questioned Jagan Mohan Reddy's knowledge of the problems facing farmers in regard to his "Rythu Poru" at Armoor in the Nizamabad district.
He said that Jagan is observing the deeksha at Armoor only with an intent to gain support in the upcoming by-elections.
In regard to the Telangana issue, Botsa challenged the TDP and the YSR Congress to write a letter to the Centre stating that they have no objection to the formation of a Telangana state in lieu of press statements.(INN)
