Court Orders Police To File Case Against KCR
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president KCR gets into trouble after a Khammam local court directs the police to file a case against him, for having defamed the PM.
A local court, on Thursday, directed the Khammam police to file a case against Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao for his alleged derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The First Class Magistrate Court of Khammam issued these directions following a petition filed by an advocate, Gollapalli Rama Rao.
The petitioner alleged that KCR had reportedly said that a "chaprasi" (peon) in the Parliament is more intelligent that the Prime Minister.
Accepting the petition, the court directed the police to file a case against KCR and to conduct investigations accordingly. (INN)
