The cabinet sub-committee formed to study the economic condition of state, on Wednesday, gave the green signal for the recruitment of teachers conducted under District Selection Committee - 2008.
The committee, which met at the Secretariat, discussed the financial implication of recruitments threadbare, and has decided to recruit all eligible candidates for teachers' posts in a phased manner.
The recruitments will be completed in a 2-year period.
The panel also decided to recruit 26,000 teachers posts under Secondary Grade by the end of this December.
The committee will communicate these decisions to the Chief Minister K Rosaiah, and make an official announcement in this regard on a later date.
