BRS working president and Telangana minister K T Rama Rao today said that the BRS government had major plans to develop Hyderabad to international standards, and that it would add more social infrastructure, including a 300-km Regional Ring Road (RRR) and develop a new city between the RRR and the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
Addressing a Telangana Builders' Federation program, the minister also said that drinking water would be supplied for 24 hours and infrastructure would be enhanced in Hyderabad after the BRS returned to power.
Claiming that the people had just seen a trailer of development under the BRS government so far and that the full movie was ahead, KTR said that in its first two terms the BRS government had focused on irrigation projects and made Telangana greener, and that in its third term the party would focus more on infrastructure development in Hyderabad.
He also said that several leaders cutting across party lines, including even Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu, had acknowledged that wealth was being created in Telangana, and that this was even proven through land prices increasing substantially across the State the during the last 9.5 years, something that had infused a sense of confidence among the farmers of the State.
All this was possible due to a stable government and the able leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, KTR claimed.
