The state government has decided to take back the land allocated to Brahmani Steels for an IT SEZ.
The decision was taken as the company did not adhere to any of required clauses, and did not carry out any development work there. The state had allocated 250 acres of land at Ravirala in Maharshwaram mandal of Ranga Reddy district in 2006 for the IT SEZ.
As no work had been taken up as on April 15, 2011, the government issued a notice to the company. (INN)
