BJP Releases Manifesto For Telangana Elections
The BJP today released a detailed 40-page manifesto for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections to be held on December 7.

BJP Telangana president Dr K Laxman today released a 40-page election manifesto for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections to be held on December 7.
Announcing the schemes for the various sections of the society, Laxman said that if the BJP was voted to power in Telangana, for farmers it would waive off crop loans upto Rs 2 lakhs in one go, supply standard seeds to the farmers at zero cost, offer insurance worth Rs 5 lakhs, and pay the premium of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (crop insurance scheme) introduced by the Centre.
In the education sector, the BJP leader said that immediate action would be taken to fill up the vacant posts at the junior college, degree college, PG college and university levels. The BJP government would set up a government junior college in every mandal and a degree college in every constituency. There would also be free laptops and two-wheelers with a subsidy given to degree students, and cycles to students from classes 7 to 10.
The party also promised health insurance to 3.5 crore people in the state under the Ayushman Bharat scheme introduced by the Narendra Modi government at the national level.
For government employees, the manifesto said that the retirement age would be increased to 60 years, that a notification to recruit personnel for the 2.5 lakh vacant posts would be released within three months of coming to power, and that the 20,000 vacant posts in Singareni Collieries would be filled at the earliest.
Laxman said that the BJP government would give Rs 10 lakhs as ex-gratia to the family of every martyr of the Telangana movement, and Rs 5,000 as pension to every person who had gone to jail in support of the Telangana movement.
The party also promised the development of Greater Hyderabad by extending the MMTS services to Tandur, Kamareddy, Jangaon, Nalgonda and Jadcherla.
