Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today criticised the Centre for its alleged failure to give funds to Telangana for its development.
Speaking after attending a sheep distribution program for the Yadav community with minister Gangula Kamalakar, he asked the Modi government to release a white paper(an authoritative report) on the funds released by the Centre to Telangana, and claimed that the people of the state would then be able see the negligent attitude of the government towards Telangana.
The minister also lashed out at the BJP leaders in the state for "constantly slandering" the TRS regime, and warned them that their mud slinging would get them nowhere.
"The BJP indulges only in spreading lies. It should know that the people of the state will never support it as they are aware of the work the TRS government has been doing for their welfare. The party should mend its ways, or the people will soon rebel against them," he said.
On the occasion, Yadav also extended his apologies to the state's Gangaputra fishing community, who had recently
taken offence to a speech made by the former, and promised to build a community hall for the group in the Uppal Bhagayat area soon.
"My words were misunderstood by the Gangaputra community. The state government is committed to working for their welfare, and for the welfare all the fishermen of the state. As per our plan, we will soon lay the foundation for a Gangaputra Community Bhavan in Uppal Bhagayat. The government has already allotted Rs 3 crore and 3 acres for its construction," he said.
