BJP Asks Owaisi Not To Provoke People On CAA

The BJP strongly condemned Asaduddin Owaisi urging the people of Telangana to not cooperate with government officials visiting their houses to collect population data.
Hyderabad | 17th January 2020
BJP Greater Hyderabad president and MLC Naraparaju Ramchander Rao today strongly condemned MIM boss and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi urging the people of the state to not cooperate with government officials visiting their houses to collect population data.

"Provoking and instigating the people against government officials is a radicalization move, and de-radicalization is necessary when leaders like Owaisi try to radicalize people by asking them not to show their Aadhaar cards and other documents to officials," the MLC said.

Saying that the Hyderabad MP was exhibiting a dangerous attitude, the BJP MLC said that the MP might soon ask people not to cooperate with security officials and processes, too.

Rao alleged that Owaisi was also trying to politicize the Army by making comments against the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat.

He said that Owaisi should not find fault with the CDS's opinion that came out of the latter's decades of experience.
