The Board of Intermediate Education, on Thursday, announced a block-period of 5 years to complete the Intermediate Course.
Accordingly, students will have 5 years, from the year of admission, to pass the Intermediate Public Examinations.
According to the BIE, the last chance for candidates who were admitted into I year Intermediate in 2005-06 and earlier to complete the course were March 2010 (IPE) and June 2010 (IPASE).
Those who could not complete their course by June 2010 have foregone their earlier performance, that is, even the subjects already passed now stand cancelled.
These candidates have to appear for all subjects afresh for IPE March 2011, through the college where they had studied earlier.
