It is well-known that the Bathini family offers fish "prasadam" every year during Mrigasira Karte. The preparation is said to help cure many of Asthma. This year, too, the family is prepping to distribute the fish prasadam, and the family members today gave the details in this regard.
"This year Mrigasira Karte will enter at 11 am on Saturday, June 8. From 11 am on June 8 to 11 am on June 9, the fish prasadam will be distributed at Nampally exhibition grounds," they said. "It will as usual be distributed free of cost. Medical services, food and drinking water supply will also be provided free of cost to the devotees for 24 hours."
"Puja programs and preparation of the prasadam will be held at Doodhbowli on June 7 in collaboration with various foundations," they added.
Claiming that they were providing the fish medicine for the prevention of respiratory diseases like asthma and cough, they urged the State government to make adequate arrangements for the organisation of the program just like all the previous governments had done. "Lakhs of people come for the medicine, and we are making all the arrangements possible at our end for such huge numbers of people. However, we will need to work in coordination with many government departments," they said.
