Bandi Sanjay Rebuts KCR's Allegations

The Telangana BJP president alleged that the CM had uttered several lies over the fuel prices and over the purchase of agriculture produce.
Hyderabad | 8th November 2021
Responding to the allegations levelled by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during his press conference yesterday, Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that the Chief Minister had uttered several lies over the petrol and diesel prices and over the purchase of agriculture produce from the farmers of the state.

Addressing media persons at the state party office in the city along with the party MP D Aravind and other leaders, Bandi said that the Centre had been buying food grains from the farmers of the state for the last 7 years in complete contrast to the claims of the CM, and alleged that the CM had held his party plenary and other public meetings only to tell lies to the people of the state.

Referring to the letter written by the union government to the state, Sanjay said that the Centre had told the state that it would buy paddy from October 21, 2021, to January 20, 2022.

He also claimed that the Centre had never said that it would abolish the market committees.

Referring to the statement of the Chief Minister that the paddy crop was cultivated in 62 lakh acres of land, he demanded that the CM hold a survey on his claims.

He also asked the CM where the farmers moving around in cars were.

He mockingly said that the CM had constituted a ministry to tell lies, and that he had appointed his nephew Harish Rao as the minster of the said ministry.

Bandi then asked the CM what he himself had done for the farmers of the state, and claimed that the state government had not implemented the loan waiver scheme for the farmers for the last three years.

Bandi also said that the Chief Minister had increased VAT on petrol and diesel in 2015, contrary to his claims.

BJP MP D Aravind said that the party would certainly send KCR to jail after coming into power.

He said that it would not be anybody else but the corruption of the CM that would send him to jail, and that the party would hand over evidence related to the corruption of the CM to the authorities concerned.
