Former union minister, MP and BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya today expressed his unhappiness over the Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities failing to put Prime Minister Narendra Modi's picture on the inaugural L B Nagar - Ameerpet metro train, and got off the train at the MGBS station in protest.
Governor E S L Narasimhan had flagged off the train at Ameerpet. The Governor, ministers Nayani Narasimha Reddy, K T Rama Rao and Talasani Srinivas Reddy, Dattatreya and others boarded the first train. But Dattatreya got off at the MGBS inter-change station as a form of protest, causing some awkwardness all around.
