Dattatreya Gets Off Metro Train Midway In Protest

The MP and BJP leader expressed his unhappiness over the Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities failing to put PM Modi's picture on the inaugural L B Nagar - Ameerpet metro train.
Hyderabad | 24th September 2018
Former union minister, MP and BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya today expressed his unhappiness over the Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities failing to put Prime Minister Narendra Modi's picture on the inaugural L B Nagar - Ameerpet metro train, and got off the train at the MGBS station in protest.

Governor E S L Narasimhan had flagged off the train at Ameerpet. The Governor, ministers Nayani Narasimha Reddy, K T Rama Rao and Talasani Srinivas Reddy, Dattatreya and others boarded the first train. But Dattatreya got off at the MGBS inter-change station as a form of protest, causing some awkwardness all around. The Governor and the ministers however inspected the MGBS inter-change station as per the plan, and the train then left for L B Nagar.
