The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Monday demanded a ban on the Pawan Kalyan-starrer "Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu".
Talking to reporters after lodging a complaint against film director Puri Jagannath and producer Danaiah with the Banjara Hills Police Station here, TRS politburo member Shravan Kumar said that the movie attempts to create a divide among the people by inciting regional feelings. Therefore, he said that instead of screening the film by deleting objectionable dialogues and scenes, it should be completely banned.
In their complaint, the TRS leaders alleged that the director-producer duo have conspired to create a divide among the people on a regional basis. They said the controversial dialogues and scenes had been deliberately included in the movie despite the fact that the latter were obviously provocative and inflammatory.
The Banjara Hills Police Station, however, is yet to take action on the complaint. (INN)
