Reacting to the Supreme Court judgement in the Babri Masjid case, MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi today said that the Supreme Court was "supreme but not infallible", and termed the judgement as a victory of "faith over facts", and unjust.
Owaisi expressed apprehension that the Sangh Parivar would now target other mosques, including those at Mathura and Kashi.
He also cautioned that the country was on the path to becoming a "Hindu Rashtra".
He said that the Muslims were not incapable of buying 5 acres of land on their own to build a mosque at Ayodhya, and did not need a donation. "We are fighting for our legal rights," he said, and asked the AIMPLB to reject the 5 acres.
He also expressed an opinion that that the AIMPLB should seek a review of the verdict.
