Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy on Sunday informed that the registration of properties in the residuary State would be decentralised.
Speaking to media persons after assuming charge in the State Secretariat, Krishna Murthy said that steps were being taken to facilitate the registration of properties from anywhere in the State.
He said that the officials have been asked to work out the modalities, and a comprehensive policy would be announced soon.
He also informed that the Andhra Pradesh government would probe the irregularities in the land allotments done by the previous Congress regime.
Krishna Murthy said that introduction of land reforms would be at the top of the agenda of the TDP government. He said that through land reforms, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu wanted to provide land to all the landless poor.
The Deputy Chief Minister signed the first file pertaining to payment of ex-gratia to the families of those killed due to sunstrokes. (INN)
