Governor E S L Narasimhan, on Tuesday, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with several school children.

Along with his wife Vimala, he mingled with scores of school children at an hour-long get-together organized for them at the Darbar Hall at the Raj Bhavan to mark the occasion.

Dressed in their colourful best, several school girls tied equally colourful rakhis on his hand.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that Raksha Bandhan affirms brother-sister love and affection, and said that it is an occasion that brings siblings closer. (INN)
