Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, 88, was admitted to the AIG Hospital in Gachibowli at about 1 pm today.
He had tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday (November 15).
Harichandan has been evaluated by a multidisciplinary team, and his condition is said to be clinically stable with normal oxygen saturation.
Based on CT findings and his history of co-morbidities, he had been diagnosed with moderate Covid, the hospital said in a health bulletin.
Governor Tamilisai Soundrarajan visited her AP counterpart at the hospital and enquired into his well-being. She also also wished him a speedy recovery.
She also spoke with the hospital doctors on the health condition of Harichandan, and instructed them to give Harichandan the best possible medical services and treatment.
The AIG Chairman informed her that the health condition of the Governor was stable, and that a team of doctors was continuously attending to him.
