Andhra Pradesh minister Kamineni Srinivas and Human Resources Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao today released the AP EAMCET 2015 results at JNTU Kakinada.
The results were released five days before the scheduled date, the minister said, adding that counselling would begin from June 12 and that students could download their rank cards from May 24.
He said that 77.42% of students qualified in the engineering stream, while 89.8% did so in the medicine stream.
The minister added that in all 1,62,807 students appeared for the EAMCET.
In the engineering stream, Anirudh Reddy, who secured 151 marks, topped the test, while in the medical stream, Mithun and Bharadwaj with 151 marks each stood first and second, and Damini with 150 marks stood third.
The key had been released on May 10.
AP Higher Education Board chairperson L Venugopal Reddy, Kakinada MP Thota Narasimham and Prof. V S S Kumar were also present. (NSS)
