Andhra Pradesh Congress senior leader C Ramachandraiah today slammed Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu for praising Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, and asked him what aspect of the Chief Minister was worthy of his praises.
The Union Minister on Friday praised on Naidu at Amaravathi foundation ceremony, reacting to which, Ramachandraiah asked if it was the anti-farmer policies of the Chief Minister or the cash-for-vote case or abetting Party defections from the Opposition or the misuse of public funds, which was worthy of the accolades.
He accused the CM of corruption by saying that the latter had taken kickbacks from contractors of the Polavaram project.
