Due to his role in the "note-for-vote" scam involving Revanth Reddy in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was not in a position to question the Centre on Special Status for AP and the Telangana government on irrigation projects, YSR Congress Party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said.
Rambabu said that he was therefore appealing to the masses and the leaders of all political parties to join his Party in agitating for Special Status for the State.
"Naidu does not have enough courage to ask the Centre about Special Status, and even the Centre does not bother about Naidu," he said. "There is also no relation between his words and actions, which show his inability to rule the State. We recently published a book titled Emperor Of Corruption on Naidu's illegal rule. The CBI is going to investigate the issue," he added.
"Special Status for AP cannot therefore happen through Naidu - the Centre has him by the jugular. I request all political parties to send your MPs in our support if we (YSRCP) stage a protest again at Delhi," he said.
