CM In Delhi To Meet Antony Committee
Kiran Kumar Reddy is likely to make last-ditch efforts to convince the Congress High Command to keep the State united in view of the on-going agitations.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who arrived at New Delhi on Tuesday is likely to meet the high-powered A K Antony Committee in the evening.
The Chief Minister left for New Delhi after participating in Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary celebrations in Hyderabad. Accompanied by PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, Labour Minister Danam Nagender and other leaders, he paid floral tributes to Rajiv Gandhi at his statue at Somajiguda, and then left alone for the national capital.
Besides the Antony Committee, the Chief Minister is also likely to meet other senior Congress leaders in New Delhi. Sources say that Reddy is likely to make last-ditch efforts to convince the Congress High Command to keep the State united in view of the on-going agitation. (INN)
