Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Get New Chief Justices

Justice Prashanth Kumar Mishra and Justice Sathish Chandra Sharma are the respective new CJs of the two high courts.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court too got a new Chief Justice - Justice Prashanth Kumar Mishra from the Chattisgarh High Court.

CJI N V Ramana had recently recommended a few names for the Chief Justice positions of some high courts, including those of the two Telugu states, and some transfers.?

President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to the CJI's recommendations, according to reports.
