The State Legislative Assembly was adjourned for half-an-hour for the second time on Friday, following the continuation of protests by the opposition parties.
As soon as the House re-assembled at about 10:04am, the TRS, TDP, BJP and CPI members rushed to the Speaker's podium, and started raising slogans against the government over the Telangana issue. Speaker Nandendla Manohar tried in vain to convince the agitating members.
However, the opposition MLAs continued with their incessant slogan-shouting.
Meanwhile, the Speaker announced that all questions listed for the Question Hour have been deemed as answered, and that all papers were deemed to have been laid on the table. With no signs of normalcy returning to the House, the Speaker again adjourned the House for half-an-hour, at about 10:06am. (INN)
