The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah is scheduled to leave for Delhi on April 8 to attend the Chief Ministers' conference to be convened by Prime Minister Dr. Mamohan Singh. The conference is being held in view of the rising prices of essential commodities.
Rosaiah will also meet the Congress President Sonia Gandhi, regarding the Cabinet reshuffle that was postponed due to the turmoil that errupted in the Andhra Pradesh capital. The CM is expected to drop 6 ministers and induct 12 new ones, reportedly after giving considerable weightage to the caste composition.
If approved by the party president, the reshuffle is most likely to be implemented on April 12.
