The Hyderabad police control room received an sms from a Uninor number threatening to conduct blasts at the Anantapur Andhra Jyothy office, the Puttaparthi Planetarium, and the Anantapur ISKCON temple. The sms dared the police to find out the bomb locations by 1pm, and said that the media won’t be left alone.
Police received another sms a little after noon from the same number. It is suspected that the arrest of Khwaja, a HuJI operative, is related to these threats.
Searches have been carried out, and investigations are on, to determine if this is a case of mischief or for real.
