Foolproof and elaborate security arrangements have been made for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Telangana on Sunday.
The Prime Minister is visiting the State upon the invitation of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He is visiting Telangana for the first time after its formation and after his own taking over as PM.
Over 3,000 security personnel have been deployed at Gajwel in the Medak district and at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad. A three-tier security ring will be in place for the visit of the PM, and NSG personnel inspected Gajwel as well as the L B Stadium, along with bomb and dog squads.
The Prime Minister will arrive by a special flight at the Begumpet airport at 2:20 pm, and will proceed to Gajwel by a helicopter. After reaching Gajwel, he will launch the Telangana government's prestigious Mission Bhagiratha project, and lay the foundation stones for various programs, including the Ramagundam Fertilizer Plant.
The Prime Minister will return to Hyderabad at 5:15 pm to address BJP workers at the L B stadium. Massive traffic restrictions will be in force in the city in view of this BJP Maha Sammelan.
