Alai-Balai Held At Exhibition Grounds, Chiranjeevi Attends
Kerala Governor Arif Ahmed Khan, film actor Chiranjeevi and others took part in the annual event held by the family of Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.
As usual, the annual Alai-Balai program was held by the family members of Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally.
The program was held by the daughter of Dattatreya, Bandaru Vijayalaxmi.
Dattatreya has been holding the program since 2005.
Kerala Governor Arif Ahmed Khan, Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi and others took part in the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan termed the program as excellent. He said that the main objective of the program was to propagate the message of loving all people, and asked the people to draw inspiration from such programs.
He also urged Chiranjeevi to make a movie surrounding the Alai-Balai program.
He also said that Telangana had a nice culture and traditions.
Chiranjeevi said that Alai-Balai was part of the Telangana culture. He said that he had been planning to attend the program for a long time, and that Dattatreya had visited his house personally and extended an invitation to him. He also recalled that his brother Pawan Kalyan and brother-in-law Allu Aravind had also attended the program in the past, and said that he was quite happy to be able to attend it this year.
He added that the program should be held across the country as it propagated love and fraternity among the people.
